Our Practice

Associates in Orthopedics has been caring for patients in the Merrimack Valley for over twenty five years, since it was founded by
Dr. Eugene Brady in 1979. The practice has
grown to include Dr. Gregory K. Johnson,
Dr. Pamela L. Jones, and Dr. Barry T. Bickley, each with their own special areas of expertise.

Dr. Brady practices general orthopedics, providing extensive expertise in non-operative and surgical managment of musculoskeletal problems.

In addition to general orthopedics, Dr. Johnson has a special interest in Sports Medicine; in particular, knee ligament reconstruction.

Dr. Jones has received additional training at
Yale University in hand and upper extremity (arm and shoulder), and is board certified in both general orthopedics and in the added specialty of hand surgery.

Dr Bickley has a special interest in arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder as well as joint replacement surgery and general orthopedics.

The physicians and staff at Associates in Orthopedics offer diagnostic, medical and surgical management of a wide variety of musculoskeletal problems, from fractures to arthritis, from osteoporosis to joint replacement.

Orthopedic Specialties

-extremity fracture care.

-lacerations, injuries to muscles,
 tendons, nerves or ligaments.

-joint replacement, especially hips,
 knees and shoulders.

-arthroscopic surgery to the  shoulder,
 elbow, wrist, knee and ankle.

-hand and upper extremity surgery,
  including repair of tendons, nerves and
  blood vessels, carpal tunnel, arthritis and
  Dupuytren's contracture.
 
-non-surgical office management of all
  types of orthopedic problems, such as   tendonitis, bursitis and arthritis
  sometimes requiring steroid (cortisone)
  injections, and for knee arthritis, the
  lubricant Synvisc.
